where do i start?

I am a “Georgia Peach”, raised by northern parents, currently located in the suburbs outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Art was always my first love, which ultimately focused my attention to photography. What started as taking photos with disposable cameras for my scrapbook as a young Girl Scout transpired into a passion for encapsulating memories via digital photography. I can proudly say that I hold a B.F.A in Digital Photography.

My favorite view is looking through the lens; the art of photography allows me to emphasize and communicate life and love in an organic and unapologetically bold way. When I’m not working with clients, I love to collaborate on styled photoshoots with other creatives. Being excited about my work is so important to me, and I love when that energy is contagious with whomever I’m working with!

My husband and I continue to raise our sweet, active toddler. As a family, we enjoy the outdoors, traveling, exercise, and snuggling our pup. While I’m having the time of my life shooting weddings and portrait sessions, they’re out on adventures together. I’m mostly at my computer editing, emailing, and running the administrative part of my business when my little one is sleeping, so ignore that late night timestamp - yes I do sleep!

know my style + what it means

While specific outfits, skin tones, environments, and lighting scenarios influence slight variations between images, I approach my shooting and editing process with these three things in mind:

true-to-color: as close and realistic to skin tones and settings as possible, avoiding color casts and overall altering of hues.
bold + vivid: realistic contrast between light and shadows while celebrating colors that naturally stand out. Subjects’ edges are defined with the exception of intentionally blurred images for artistic expression.
the goal: bringing your memories to life, so that when you look back on them, it feels like you are re-living every moment “in screaming color”.
